Inclusion Assistant (19-AAAA1252Z-0527-1) at University for the Creative Arts
We are looking for a fixed term Inclusion Assistant for 3 months on our Rochester campus. You will join a small team to work with disabled students to help them access their learning.
You will work with a wide range of disabled students providing learning support, through “roaming” support, drop-ins, appointments and group sessions. On occasions you will work individually with students, who require a high level of assistance. The support you provide will be designed to promote and develop more inclusive solutions for disabled students across a range of areas including communication, wellbeing and behavioural support.
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience in supporting FE/HE learners with additional learning support needs. You should have experience of supporting in one-to-one and group settings as well as assisting students to engage with identified learning strategies and study skills, preferably within a creative arts course.
