Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Games Technology (19-AMCD145-0289-1) at University for the Creative Arts
We are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational individual to join our new BSc (Hons) Games Technology course (a sibling to the well established BA (Hons) Games Arts course).
Experienced in games development, you will be keen to contribute to the delivery of this exciting programme with industry knowledge, skill, creativity and enthusiasm.
You’ll have proven knowledge and experience of software engineering for computer games with a focus on C++/Blueprint, a familiarity with related multi-paradigm programming languages, and understanding of contemporary game engines, i.e. Unreal and Unity.
Prior experience in the theory of games design, game 3D modelling, texturing for games, character modelling, rigging and animation using tools such as Maya and Substance would also be desirable.
You will have a good honours degree, ideally a postgraduate degree, great professional experience and detailed knowledge of contemporary developments in the subject area and wider creative industry.
HE teaching experience is desirable.

Actual salary for the position is £21,126-£29,205 per annum.
