Liaison Librarian (19-LIBR255-0503-1) at University for the Creative Arts

The Academic Services is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Liaison Librarian at UCA Farnham.

The University offers access to a specialist arts collection consisting of over 220,000 books, 500 metres of archives, 16,000 DVDs, 16,000 journals, 45 databases; and offers a range of information services to promote academic success - digitisation, document supply, alternative formats, information literacy skills, referencing, learning technologies, and learning, teaching and research repositories.

Working within the Liaison Services Team, and with direction from the Liaison Services Manager, you will be responsible for the library collections, including the review, selection and maintenance of all resources; liaise with colleagues to ensure the collections and resources focus on the University’s strategic priorities, are legally and contractually compliant, and within budget; develop the information skills of course teams and students through online tools, workshops and tutorials; and promotion of library resources and services.

This role would suit a creative individual with initiative who enjoys interacting and collaborating with a wide range of people.

The pro rata salary for this role will be £21,126 - £24,475.
