Responsible Officer - Awarding Organisation (19-FE001-0201-1) at University for the Creative Arts
The University for the Creative Arts is looking to appoint a Responsible Officer to support the set up and implementation of an Awarding Organisation.
The position holder initially will be involved in producing the Awarding Organisation systems, policies and procedures in-line with Ofqual’s General Conditions of Recognition. They will work in collaboration with the Head of School for Further Education, University’s consultant and the Head of Quality Assurance and Enhancement following a detailed and time bound project plan focused on successfully achieving Ofqual awarding organisation status.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of managing quality assurance and/or compliance processes in a regulated awarding organisation. Experience of interpreting and advising on regulations and implementing actions to ensure compliance with regulations. Evidence of writing complex systems and policies and procedures. An understanding of current issues relating to quality assurance in a regulated awarding organisation and experience of developing qualifications.
The pro rata salary for this position will be£16,814 - £19,470 per annum.
